Honored at 2011 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet

(January 16, 2011) –
The
2011 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet was held Friday and
Saturday night at the Fishers Banquet Center in Fishers, Indiana. The
top 10 in 2011 CRA Super Series points, JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour
Presented by GM Performance Parts points, Sullivan RV CRA Late Model
Sportsman points, EDCO Welding CRA Street Stocks points, and the
Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts points were all honored at
those banquets along with several special awards.

Sullivan RV CRA Late Model Sportsman Series Winchester 50 Contingency
Awards
Salem,
IN (October 19, 2011) –
Champion
Racing Association Officials have announced the Contingency Awards from
this past Saturday’s Winchester 50 for the Sullivan RV CRA Late Model
Sportsman Series at Winchester Speedway. In order to receive the awards,
the car owner and driver must be licensed series members and properly
display each sponsors stickers on both sides of their racecar. The $1680
in awards listed for each driver is in addition to the events purse
payout.

Ecoff
Wins Second in a Row
Winchester, IN (October 15, 2011) –
Two Allstar Performance Fast Qualifier
Awards and two wins in two races for Damon Ecoff. Until June Ecoff had
never won a Sullivan RV CRA Late Model Sportsman race, but he ended the
season with a win at Lucas Oil Raceway and then followed it up with a
dominating performance during the Winchester 400 Weekend at Winchester
Speedway.
Terry
Cater started on the pole after the invert and took the early lead. Cater
would lead with the drivers behind him changing. On the 24th
lap a spin brought out the first of only two cautions. On the restart Bob
Sibila, Jr. took over the top spot with Ecoff, having moved up from his 10th
starting position, hot on his tail. Ecoff passed Sibila on the next lap
and ran out to the win. Sibila ran second, KC Spillers third, Keith
Sterkowitz fourth and Terry Cater fifth.

from this past Sunday’s Ecoff Motorsports 40 for the Sullivan RV CRA
Late Model Sportsman Series at Lucas Oil Raceway. In order to receive

New Stars and All-Star Dash CRA Events
Outlined for Winchester 400 Weekend
First Timers Bonuses will be Available for CRA Support Divisions
Salem, IN (October 4, 2011)
- There
will
be New Star and All-Star events with the Winchester 400 weekend for
the Sullivan RV CRA Late Model Sportsman and EDCO Welding CRA Street
Stocks again this year. On Friday night, October 14th the Sullivan RV
CRA Late Model Sportsman teams will be divided into two groups for a
"New Star" Feature and an "All-Star" Dash for Cash. The 25-Lap "New
Star" feature is open to all Sportsman cars/drivers that have not
finished in the top 5 at Winchester from 2007 to 2011. New teams are
welcome as well, that have true, sportsman-type drivers. The payout
for this event will be: $400-250-200-175-150-125-100-90-80-75 on out.

Ecoff Makes It Two in a Row at Lucas Oil Raceway
Returning to the place where he won his first Sullivan RV CRA Late
Model Sportsman in June,
Damon Ecoff found he had not lost
his touch as he dominated the field to win the Ecoff Motorsports Fall
Brawl 40. Starting eighth Ecoff came through the field to take
the lead on the 11th lap, passing a very hard running Jeff Lane who
was racing the first of three races on the day. As the laps
wound down, Keith Sterkowitz and Lane fought for the second place as
Lane out ran Jason Atkinson. Sterkowitz finished second, Lane
third, Atkinson fourth and Charlie Hanna fifth.
"I knew we had a good car, but after I drew an eight for the invert
I was not sure I could make it happen, but after we got through
traffic so quick, I knew I win." Ecoff stated. "I have to
thank my family and my crew for helping so much."

Motorsports Fall Brawl 40 Official Results
CRA’s SealWrap Repair Tape Fall Brawl This Weekend at Lucas Oil
Raceway
Salem, IN September 27, 2011) –
The SealWrap Repair Tape Fall Brawl is set to take
place this weekend at Lucas Oil Raceway Indianapolis featuring for the
first time ever all five Champion Racing Association racing divisions
in one event including the CRA Super Series, the JEGS/CRA All-Stars
Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts, the Sullivan RV CRA Late Model
Sportsman Series, the EDCO Welding Street Stocks and the Vore’s
Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts. CRA officials are expecting over 140
racecars to participate in this weekend’s racing events at Lucas Oil
Raceway.

World Stock Car Festival

World Stock Car Festival Sets Records
Winchester, IN (September 5, 2011) -
The World Stock Car
Festival featured a heavy dose of the Champion Racing Association with
four divisions racing, two new track records, two first time winners,
a return to the winner’s circle for a former champion and a record
breaking win for a driver.
The weekend started with qualifying, heat
races and a feature for the Vore’s Welding and Steel CRA FWD Compacts
on Sunday. Monday’s events included features for the Sullivan RV CRA
Late Model Sportsman, CRA Super Series, EDCO Welding CRA Street Stocks
and a second feature for the Vore’s Welding and Steel CRA FWD
Compacts.

Sterkowitz Continues Streak
Continuing his incredible win streak in
2011
Keith Sterkowitz won his fifth race in a row taking the Sullivan RV
CRA Late Model Sportsman's Winchester 40 at Winchester Speedway over
second place finisher Charlie Hanna. After earning the All Star
Performance Fast Qualifier Award Sterkowitz started eighth. He
worked his way through the field to take the lead from Hanna on a
restart on the 10th lap. Hanna would continue to follow in
second until a late caution came out due to Rick Sullivan's apparent
engine failure. Hanna could not take advantage as Sterkowitz
pulled away for the win.
"We really worked hard on the car this weekend" Sterkowitz
stated. "We tried some different things in last night's heat
races and they did not work, we we went back and the car was good.
I have one of the best crew chief's and it worked really good."

Draws an Eight for Invert
Keith Sterkowitz was looking for his third straight All Star
Performance Fast Qualifier Award, when Bobby Sibila took it away with
a lap of 17.377 seconds. Sterkowitz was just behind at 17.387
seconds. Charlie Hanna was third, Rick Sullivan fourth and Jason
Atkinson fifth.
Sibila then drew an eight for the invert putting KC Spillers on the
pole with Mark Parker on the outside of the front row.

Sterkowitz Fastest in Practice
Keith Sterkowitz set fast time for the
Sullivan RV CRA Late Model Sportsman practice in the second session
with a time of 17.531 seconds, Jason Atkinson was second at 17.785.
KC Spillers came in third, Mark Parker fourth and Charlie Hanna fifth.

Bobby Sibila Fastest in First Practice
Bobby Sibila turned a lap of 17.561 seconds to
set fast time in the first practice session. Keith Sterkowitz
was second at 17.573 seconds. Jason Atkinson is third, KC
Spillers fourth and Rick Sullivan fifth.

Sullivan RV
Becomes New Title Sponsor of CRA Late Model Sportsman Series
Salem,
IN (January 19, 2011) –
 Champion
Racing Association officials announced today that Sullivan RV has agreed
to become the new title sponsor of the CRA Late Model Sportsman Series for
the 2011 race season. The series will now be titled the Sullivan RV CRA
Late Model Sportsman Series and will have its 2011 season opener on April
10th at Plymouth Speedway.
