Plastics
Winchester, IN (September 12, 2006) –
There are already 43 cars pre-entered for this Sunday’s Max 93.5/96.7
200 Presented By Pier-Mac Plastics for the Max 93.5/96.7 CRA Street
Stocks.
This
event is the biggest race of the season for the Max 93.5/96.7 CRA
Street Stocks with a $5000 payoff to the winner, all cars entered will
start three wide with their starting position determined by a draw.
Last season CRA Super Series
competitor Jeff Lane took advantage of an off weekend for the late
models by leading the last 58 laps to win the last years MAX 93.5/96.7
200 and claiming the $5000 payoff for car owner Steve Davis. While
Lane was not the fastest car on the track, lady luck was on his side.
Starting last of the 45 cars that started, Lane spent much of the race
moving through the field and when the faster cars all dropped out due
to different problems, he was there to get in front and stay there.

Joe
Beaver leads a talented group of drivers that are already pre-entered
for Sunday’s event. Beaver currently has built a 64 point lead over

Wayne driver Steve Christman behind the wheel Sunday. Christman
finished second in his first ever Max 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stock event
with Davis on Labor Day. Several drivers who have won 200 lap Street
