Winchester Speedway Gets Local
Support For This Weekends World Stock Car Festival
Winchester, IN (September 1, 2005)
- Winchester Speedway will have the support of several local companies
with this weekends World Stock Car Festival at the famous high banked
½ mile racetrack located in Winchester, Indiana. Maple-Tarr Chrysler
Dodge Jeep located at 210 N. Main Street in downtown Winchester will
be the Presenting Sponsor for the return of the World Stock Car
Festival this weekend. Stop by and check out the new Dodge Charger!
Fire Bottle Fire Suppression Systems,
formally headquartered in Modoc, Indiana,
now
with its new location in Ft. Myers, Florida, is owned by long time
racer and supporter of Winchester Speedway Don Skaggs Sr. Fire Bottle
will be the Sponsor of the 40 lap American Modified Series Feature on
Monday, September 5th.
Culy Construction & Excavating of
Winchester will be the Sponsor of the 30 lap Max 93.5/96.7 CRA Street
Stocks feature on Monday, September 5th. Culy Construction
& Excavating also sponsors Kevin Cook of Winchester, a rookie driver
with the Max 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks.

Anchor Glass of Winchester will be
the sponsor of the 30 lap Max 93.5/96.7 CRA Street Stocks feature on
Sunday night, September 4th. This feature was
originally scheduled for Sunday, August 14th, but was
rescheduled to this weekend after rain forced the track to postpone
the event. The line-up for this event was set on August 14th.
Bicycle Playing Cards of Cincinnati,
Ohio will be giving away 500 free Bicycle Die Cast Cars to the first
500 fans attending Monday’s events. Bicycle Playing Cards will also be
registering fans for a give-away. The five lucky fans will win a
Bicycle Masters Set valued at $59 each. Bicycle Playing Cards and
Bicycle Clay Poker Chips are sponsors of the CRA Super Series and
Hendricks County Motorsports CRA Super

The World Stock Car Festival
Presented By Maple-Tarr Chrysler Dodge Jeep at Winchester Speedway
will kick off with an open practice on Saturday, September 3 from 1pm
until 5pm. Pits will open on Sunday,
September
4 at 9am. Spectator gates open at 11am. Practice will begin at
11:30am, qualifying at 3:15pm, there will be racing action in
preliminary events starting at 6pm. Pit gates open on Monday,
September 5 at 9am. Spectator gates open at 11am. There will be a
warm-up session at 11am, any last chance races needed will start at
12noon, feature action for all six divisions will begin at 1pm and
will be kicked off by the McGunegill Engine Performance 100 for the
CRA Super Series Presented By Spray Power.
