Odessa, MO (September 23, 2005) - The excitement around Kenny’s Tile World Cup Weekend is growing even more these days with the tight points battle in the CRA Super Series. The World Cup event will be the next to last race in the battle for the 2005 Championship.

The 150 lap event features a $5000 to win, $500 to start purse for 32 starting positions and only four tires for the race.

Through the years, the World Cup event was heralded as one of the premier late model races in the country. Some of the top names in motorsports have been a part of the event, including NASCAR Stars Rusty Wallace and Mark Martin, ASA Stars Dick Trickle, Mike Garvey, Mike Eddy and 2003 Champion Kevin Cywinski, plus local heroes John O’Neil, 2003 Track Champion Jeff Klem and the 2003 World Cup winner Jenny White.

A great weekend of racing is planned, as support divisions of Modifieds, SuperTrucks, Super Stocks, Dash cars and Enduros will practice, qualify and run heat races on Friday night. Friday night Modifieds will run their World Cup 2005 Feature along with Dirt Cars on Asphalt and Super Moto Special Features.

The remaining classes will run only features on Saturday night of Kenny’s Tile World Cup Weekend headlined by the CRA Super Late Model Series 150.
