Cassill Doubles Up For Rockford

Fairfax, IA (September 22, 2005)- Landon Cassill and his Iowa based Cassill Motorsports team announced today their entry in the CRA Super Series 250 in addition to the ASA Late Model Series Chicago International Trucks 100 for the 40^th Annual National Short Track Championships at Rockford Speedway in Rockford Il.

"Running at Rockford is a lot of fun. With our previous success, our great test up there and the way we have been running lately, I am very excited about our chances" said Landon.

Landon has experienced some great runs at the famous Rockford Speedway bullring in the past by winning in Legends cars and bringing out a back up car to finish last year’s National Short Track Championship with a top ten finish. Landon is also riding a wave of momentum as of late by driving his Cassill Motorsports ASA Late Model to consecutive top ten finishes it the last two ASA Late Model Series Races.
In addition to his success in the ASA Late Model Series, Landon also sits fifth in the CRA Scott Performance Wires Five State Challenge standings, only 36 points out of first place. With the leader of the standings not entered in this weekends event, Landon is focused on taking over the points lead.

"We’ve had a lot of fun with some good runs with our crate motor in the CRA Five State Challenge deal. We are looking pretty good in points the there too, so it should be exciting to watch the weekend unfold" said Landon.

With the hectic schedule of the National Short Track Championships, Cassill Motorsports is poised and ready to provide Landon with two competitive cars for the grueling weekend at Rockford.

"Landon has always enjoyed running different cars and this weekend gives us a special opportunity to enter two very competitive races at the same track. We are looking forward to the challenge of 375 combined laps" said Cassill Motorsports crew chief Rich Lushes.

The ASA Late Model Series Chicago International Trucks 100 and the CRA Super Series 250 are set to go off Sunday September 25^th at the 40^th Annual National Short Track Championships at the Rockford Speedway in Loves Park, IL.
