Wins Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Award
Salem, IN (October 22, 2006) –
Indianapolis, Indiana’s Tommy St. John is the winner
of
the 2006 Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Award with the CRA Super Series
Presented By Spray Power. The 2005 CRA Super Series Rookie Of The Year
and the runner up in 2006 CRA Super Series Championship Points
improved a total of 66 positions during the 2006 season. St. John will
receive a $400 cash bonus from Cometic Gasket at the 2006 CRA Super
Series Awards Banquet.
CD-2 Rookie Of
The
Year runner-up Rich Segvich finished in second in the Cometic Gasket
Hardcharger Standings with 47 improved positions during the season,
while competing in two less events than St. John. CD-2 Rookie Of The
Year competitor Sondi Eden finished in third with 40 improved
positions. 2006 CRA Super Series CD-2 Rookie Of The Year Award winner
Danny Jackson finished in fourth with 18 improved positions while
veteran racer Jack Landis finished in fifth with 17 improved
positions. To be eligible a driver had to finish in the top 15 in
series points.
