CRA Super Series
To Honor The Memory Of Charlie Bradberry At The All American 400
Salem, IN (October 31, 2006) –
CRA Super Series officials have announced that they will honor the
memory of the late Charlie Bradberry during the All American 400 at
the Music City Motorplex this weekend. On Saturday drivers will be
competing for the Charlie Bradberry Pole Award Presented By
Full
Throttle Race Parts during qualifying for the CRA Super Series 200 lap
event of Sunday’s All American 400. The driver with the fast
qualifying time will be awarded with the Charlie Bradberry Pole Award
and will receive a $400 cash bonus from Full Throttle Race Parts of
Nashville, Tennessee.
Also, in recognition of Bradberry’s
memory, the CRA Super Series will ask all competing teams, series
officials and the fans attending the event to stand in a moment of
silence during lap 78 of the 200-lap CRA Super Series event during
Sunday afternoon’s All American 400. The leader of lap 78, which was
the car number Bradberry ran on his late model, will received a $100
bonus from Full Throttle Race Parts in Bradberry’s memory.
"Charlie was one of the ‘big name
drivers’ to have at any late model event," remarked Glenn Luckett,
Director of the CRA Super Series. "Charlie was always a tough
competitor, but was always just happy to be racing and always had a
smile on his face. Charlie was a great racer as well as a great
person, he will be missed by everyone, but never forgotten."
