Tri-State Challenge Fourth And Final Round

2004) – The Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge, an award
program based upon four selected Sunoco Super Series points events in
three of the states the series will visit in 2004, will have it’s fourth
and final
round
this Sunday, October 24th with the running of the Spray Power 125
Presented By Sunoco and John Jones GM City at Salem Speedway, in Salem,
Indiana.

Tri-State Challenge points leader after the Challenges first three rounds
at Berlin Raceway, located in Marne, Michigan on June 19th, at
Anderson Speedway, located in Anderson, Indiana on July 17th
and at Columbus Motor Speedway located in Columbus, Ohio on September 12th
is veteran Sunoco Super Series racer Scott Hantz with only a 1 point lead
over Junior Hanley which came only after Hantz’s win at Columbus. Steve
Moenck is in third 31 points behind Hantz. Chris Gabehart is a distant
fourth 62 points behind flowed by series point’s leader Chuck Barnes Jr.
in fifth 63 points behind.

Tri-State Challenge will pay the driver who gets the most series points in
the four events a $400 bonus and a set of Scott Performance Wires. The
second place driver in the Scott Performance Wire Tri-State Challenge will
receive a $300 bonus. The third place driver in the Scott Performance Wire
Tri-State Challenge will receive a $200 bonus. Scott Performance Wire will
also award the 2004 Sunoco Super Series Champion with a set of Scott
Performance Wires and an additional set of Scott Performance Wires that
will be given away by random draw of the top fifteen teams in final series
points at the 2004 series awards banquet in January.
