Port City Racecars
Extends Sponsorship Of CRA Super Series For 2006 Season
Salem, IN (November 26, 2005)
– Port City Racecars has agreed to extend their sponsorship of the CRA
Super Series for the upcoming 2006 season. The 2006 season will be the
sixth straight season that Port
City
Racecars has supported the CRA Super Series as a Contingency Sponsor.
Port City Racecars will award a $100 Product Certificate to the
highest finishing driver in a Port City Chassis at every CRA Super
Series event in 2006. Port City Racecars will also award the highest
finishing driver in a Port City Chassis in the final 2006 CRA Super
Series season points with a $400 Product Certificate.
Port
City Chassis’s were used by Jeff Lane to win the 2005 CRA Super Series
Drivers Points Championship and by Tommy St. John to win the 2005 CRA
Super Series Rookie Of The Year Award. In all Port City Chassis’s won
nine series events in 2005 led by 2005 CRA Super Series Drivers Points
Champion Jeff Lane with two wins. Chuck Barnes Jr., Chris Gabehart,
Johnny Belott, Fred Campbell, Andy Ponstein, Rick Turner, and Ross
Meeuwsen all recorded one series win each in a Port City Chassis with
the CRA Super Series during the 2005 season.
