Outlaw Super Late Model Portion of The Labor Day Weekend at Winchester
Speedway has been Canceled
ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drive
Compacts Will Run Features on Sunday and Monday
Winchester, IN (August 23, 2006) – Champion
Racing Association officials have announced that the Outlaw Super Late
Model race scheduled for Labor Day Weekend with the World Stock Car
Festival at Winchester Speedway has been canceled due to lack of
interest in that particular event.
“We just haven’t had enough interest in Outlaw
Super Late Models to have that race,” remarked R.J. Scott with
Champion Racing Association and Winchester Speedway. “There are a lot
of special shows for those type cars during the month of September.
Plans to have them compete again during the Winchester 400 Weekend on
Saturday, October 14th are still in the air, while we await
interest from the teams and advance entries.”
The upcoming Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car
Festival will be headlined on Monday, September 4th with a
100 Lap CRA Super Series late model race, a 40 lap American Modified
Series race, 40 lap features for CRA Sportsman and Street Stocks, as
well as the recently added features for ThunderCars and Front Wheel
Drive Compacts. ThunderCars and Front Wheel Drive Compacts will now
run heat races and feature events along with qualifying and heat races
for the other divisions on Sunday, September 3rd. Entry
forms for all divisions for the Labor Day Weekend World Stock Car
Festival Presented By Maple-Tarr Dodge Chrysler Jeep are available on
the Champion Racing Association web site and the Winchester Speedway

The October 14th CRA Outlaw Super Late
Model event is tentatively scheduled for 75 laps and to pay $3000 to
win and $450 to start plus bonuses if at least 14 cars participate.
