Barnes Jr. Web Site
Salem, IN (August 28,
2004) –
Chuck Barnes Jr. Racing is pleased to announce that Speed
Media has redesigned Chuck Barnes Jr.’s web site at
www.chuckbarnesjr.com. The site
was first launched by Speed Media in January as part of the Rookie Award
Program Barnes received for being the top rookie contender with the Sunoco
Super Series in 2003. Speed Media has continued its relationship with
Chuck Barnes Jr. Racing as an Associate Sponsor of the team by maintaining
the web site and designing the new web site. The Prevo Network, another
Associate Sponsor of Chuck Barnes Jr. Racing, hosts the site.
Chuck Barnes Jr. is
currently the Sunoco Super Series point’s leader with five points events
remaining on the 2004 schedule. The twenty two year old Louisville,
Kentucky native has managed to stay at the top of a tough points battle
with consistent finishes including his first series win on July 31st
at Shadybowl Speedway, four second place finishes and two Corteco Fast
Qualifier Awards. Barnes leads Canadian racing veteran Junior Hanley by
sixteen points with series veteran Jeff Lane only twenty-four points
behind in third.

Saturday, September 4th at Salem Speedway in Salem, Indiana.
Barnes scored two victories at Salem Speedway in the late model division
earlier this season. Barnes was the Fast Qualifier for last Saturday’s
event at Salem Speedway, but had his night end early with mechanical
problems. Barnes has picked up sponsor support for his late model races at
Salem Speedway from Cowboys Food Stores.
