Hermiller to
Compete with JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2012
H.S.
Motorsports has announced that they will compete with the JEGS/CRA
All-Stars Tour Presented by GM Performance Parts with driver Brandon
Hermiller in 2012. The eighteen year old Grand Rapids, Michigan driver
will contend for the Howie Lettow Rookie of the Year Award Presented
by Howe Racing and the points
Championship with the highly competitive
JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour in 2012. Hermiller will start his season off
by competing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour special non-points event
with SpeedFest 2012 at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia
on January 28th and 29th against some of the
best crate late model drivers in the country.
Hermiller
competed in three JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour events at the end of the
2011 season. Hermiller’s best effort was at the series event at Berlin
Raceway where he was the Keyser Manufacturing Fast Qualifier, then
managed a fifth place finish against a tough field of series regulars
and Berlin regulars. Hermiller finished sixth in the series final
event at Winchester Speedway and won an ARCA/CRA Super Series last
chance race at Berlin.
Hermiller was
the Berlin Kerkstra Pro Stock Division Champion at Berlin Raceway in
2011 getting eight feature wins, 11 Fast Qualifier Awards and won the
Most Popular Driver Award and Racer of the Year Award from Berlin
Raceway. Hermiller also competed part time in the Berlin Raceway Super
Late Model division were he got two top five finishes along with two
Fast Qualifier Awards.
Hermiller will have sponsorship from H.S. Die & Engineering, VISI, TST
Software, and NOVO Plastics on his #6 Chevrolet for the 2012 season.
