Special from Jack Smith Motorsports
Jack Smith Heads to Chicagoland Speedway
for the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series Race
Medina, OH (September 15, 2011) -
After an impressive 11th place finish in the Good Sam Club
200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia back on September
2nd after starting 28th, Jack Smith is riding some good
momentum heading into his next NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series
race, the Fast Five 225 on Friday, September 16th at the
1.5 mile Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois.

Smith will make his fifth appearance of the
2011 racing season behind the wheel of the #63 Seal Wrap / MB
Motorsports Ford F-150 at the track located just West of Chicago. The
Medina, Ohio veteran is looking forward to racing once again in front
of a LIVE television audience as the race will be shown LIVE on SPEED
starting at 8:00p.m.
"We’re really looking forward to Chicagoland
after having such a good run at Atlanta. Everyone at MB Motorsports is
looking forward to it. I really need to thank Mike Mittler and the
entire team for working so hard to give me such a good truck in
Atlanta and I know they’re going to do the same this weekend in
Chicagoland." Stated Smith as he and the team make final preparations
for the trip to the Prairie State. "To have a Crew Chief like Paul
Andrews is a dream come true. He has worked with some of the best
drivers in the business. To be able to work with Paul has meant the
world to me."
Smith then continued; "The run at Atlanta
has really opened up some doors for me. The response from the fans all
over and the response on our Facebook Fan Page has been unbelievable!
Also to be able to spend some time with the Operation Homefront people
at the track was just great. Without the military and what they do for
this country, we all wouldn’t be able to do what we do. So Thank You
to all of them and God Bless Them and their families." He added.
In four starts thus far in the NASCAR
Camping World Trucks Series, Smith has record one top 15 finish, the
previously mentioned 11th place showing at Atlanta and he also has a
17th place showing at Kentucky Speedway in Sparta, Kentucky back on
July 7th. His two other appearances were at Iowa Speedway in Newton,
Iowa on July 16th (Finished 29th) and Lucas Oil Raceway at
Indianapolis in Clermont, Indiana on July 29th (Finished 28th).
"I also really need to thank everyone at
Seal Wrap for believing in me, especially Jeff Welch and Curt Wilson!
Without those guys support, I wouldn’t even have had the chance to
come back to racing with the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series,"
Smith stated. "I personally use Seal Wrap all the time. It’s
definitely good stuff. Hopefully we can earn another solid finish at
Chicagoland. I’m hoping that the Seal Wrap folks have liked what
they’ve seen this season and we can move forward in our relationship
looking ahead to the 2012 season." He ended.
