CRA Lucas Oil Raceway Information for CRA Super Series and JEGS/All-Stars Tour Teams

Pit gates will open this Saturday at 8:30am

All CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Teams will be pitting on pit road. Pit stalls will be assigned from the entry list mixing both series teams. Assignments will be based upon points and teams needs to pit together or with support division cars starting at the end of the front stretch back to turn three. There will be two cars per pit stall in every pit on pit road in order to accommodate all the teams. Cars will be angle parked with the nose towards turn one. It will be tight, please try and limit the amount of equipment brought into the track. Teams will have to stay in their assigned area!

Haulers will be allowed to come in and unload starting at 8:30am. Haulers will park either against the outside pit wall or inside pit wall to unload leave the middle lane open for traffic to move through. Do Not Block Pit Road with your hauler while unloading! Please remove your hauler to the hauler parking area as soon as possible to allow other teams in to unload. There will be CRA officials patrolling pit road to help with any questions.

Pit road must be cleared of all haulers by 12noon in order to start practice. Any haulers arriving after practice starts will have to unload in the hauler parking area and push their equipment into the track.

Teams must send one representative as soon as possible on Saturday to the CRA tech trailers to register for the event, draw for qualifying order and pick up the teams transponder. Teams will keep transponders until after racing on Sunday, please return the transponder to the CRA tech trailer as soon as you are done for the weekend.

CRA Super Series pre-practice tech will begin at 8:30am. JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour pre-practice tech will begin at 10am. Both series will go through the same tech line in the CRA tech area. Teams must go through pre-practice tech in order to practice.

Both the CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Teams will each have two 30 minute practice sessions, all sessions will be green the entire 30 minutes keeping 12 cars on the track at a time in order to give teams as much practice as possible in the allotted time. Keep your car low on the track until you build up speed when coming on for practice, let teams know when you are slowing to come off the track by waving your hand out your driver side window, get to the bottom as quick as you can. Cars that stay out too long will be black flagged.

Both the CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Teams will get their qualifying tires after their last practice session. Qualifying tech start times will be announced. If you miss your drawn position to qualify, you will only receive one lap and cannot start better than ninth. All teams will receive the green flag the first time by the flag stand and two laps on the clock unless you are penalized. CRA Super Series teams will have to return their qualifying tires to tire impound as soon as qualifying is over. The fast qualifier for each series will draw for the standard invert, 3 to a possible 8.

There will be security at the track Saturday night, teams are encouraged to leave all their equipment in the track overnight.
