Team
Construction Clean Sweep Award Grows to $500 for North/South Shootout
100
Salem, IN
(October 31, 2011) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award has
grown to $500 for the North/South Shootout 100 Presented by WearCrete
Diamond Concrete Polishing CRA Super Series Southern event at Caraway
Speedway
this Saturday. $100 of the $500 rolled over from the 2010 season.
Augie Grill was the last to claim the Southern version of the award at
the CRA Super Series Southern event at Gresham Motorsports Park on
July 17th of 2010. The bonus has not been claimed since
that event.
Paul Kelly was
the WearCrete Racing Fast Qualifier at the CRA Super Series Southern
SpeedFest event at Lanier National Speedway in January, but was
involved in a late race accident that ended his day. Grill was the
WearCrete Racing Fast Qualifier at the rattler 250 in March but was
also taken out in a late race accident. In the most recent CRA Super
Series Southern event at Gresham Motorsports Park on September 17th
Grill was again the WearCrete Racing Fast Qualifier, but crashed on
lap 97 while battling for the lead on a restart.
The Team
Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $100 cash bonus if an
event’s WearCrete Racing Fast Qualifier can also win that same event.
If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled
over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same
event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at
$100.
