Salem, IN (November 29, 2011) – Champion Racing Association officials are pleased to announce that Team Construction has agreed to continue its sponsorship of the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award with the ARCA/CRA Super Series for the upcoming 2012 race season. Johnny VanDoorn and Kenzie Ruston were the only drivers to claim the award with the ARCA/CRA Super Series Northern races in 2011. The Northern award had not been claimed since May 16^th, 2010 before it was claimed on September 5^th at Winchester Speedway by Johnny VanDoorn and was worth a record $1900. Ruston then claimed the award at the next series event at Lucas Oil Raceway on October 2^nd. The ARCA/CRA Super Series Southern Tour award was not claimed at any of the Southern Tour’s four events in 2011.

The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award will consist of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s fast qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100. The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Northern events and the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award for the ARCA/CRA Super Series Southern events will be kept as separate awards during the 2012 season.

With the carryover from the 2011 season, the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award for the ARCA/CRA Super Series will be worth $300 at the series 2012 Northern opener. With the ARCA/CRA Super Series Southern Tour carryover from the 2011 season, the Team Construction Clean Sweep Award at SpeedFest 2012 at Lanier National Speedway on January 29^th will be worth $600. 2012 will be the third straight season that Team Construction has sponsored this award.
