Speed51.com Will Have Radio Coverage at Angola & Columbus Motor Speedway

SALEM, IN (May 25, 2011) – If you live too far away to make it to one of the tracks hosting a CRA event this weekend, don’t worry, you can still be part of the action through live radio coverage from Speed51.com.  The Champion Racing Association announced today that it has partnered with Speed 51 Radio to host a “CRA Memorial Day Weekend Sweep” of all of its racing action. 

It all kicks off a Columbus Motor Speedway in Ohio on Saturday, May 28^th as CRA’s Matt Prieur and Speed51.com’s Elgin “Stat Boy” Traylor will have the call of the Coughlin Cars 100 for the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour presented by GM Performance Parts.  As an added bonus, Jeff Knuckles will be on the mic for all the local divisions on Speed 51 Radio, including the Outlaw Late Models, Columbus Modifieds, Sport Stocks and Crazy Compacts.  Radio coverage is slated to go live at 7pm ET.

On Sunday, May 29^th, Speed 51 Radio will have live radio coverage of the Sullivan RV CRA Late Sportsman Series, EDCO Welding CRA Street Stocks, Modifieds, Mini-Stocks and the famous Figure-8 Trailer Races at the beautiful Angola Motor Speedway in Indiana.  The live radio coverage will begin at 7:30pm, but if you can’t get there, AMS is offering $20 a car load for this big event.

To complete the “CRA Memorial Day Weekend Sweep,” it’s back to Columbus Motor Speedway on Monday, May 30^th with the BPS 125 presented by Howe Racing for the CRA Super Series.  CRA’s Adam Mackey and 51’s Elgin “Stat Boy” Traylor will be the announce team for that event.  Speed 51 Radio, presented by McGunegill Engine Performance, will cover all the action beginning at 2pm, including the CRA Super Series late models, Columbus Modifieds, Sport Stocks and Crazy Compacts. 

“We are looking forward to big weekend at Columbus Motor Speedway,” said Glenn Luckett, co-promoter of CRA.  “The track always produces great racing that is exciting for the fans.  They have a lot of good local talent that gives our racers some tough competition.  An event like we have at Angola on Saturday is always a lot of fun too with everything that the AMS staff is putting on.  Adding the Speed 51 Radio coverage allows those who are out of the area to enjoy the racing action too.”
