Five Race Challenge to Begin at Columbus Monday
Salem, IN (May 27, 2011) – CRA
Super Series officials have announced that Scott Performance Wire will
return as the sponsor of the Scott Performance Wire Five Race
Challenge, an award program based upon five selected CRA Super Series
events during the 2011 season. This will be the eighth season in a row
that Scott Performance Wire has been an award sponsor with the CRA
Super Series.
The Scott
Performance
Wire Five Race Challenge is set to begin with this Sunday’s BPS 125
Presented by Howe Racing at Columbus Motor Speedway. The second event
will be the July 10th event at M-40 Speedway and the third
event will be on August 19th at Dixie Motor Speedway, both
of these tracks will be hosting a CRA Super Series event for the first
time. The fourth event will be the September 5th event at
Winchester Speedway. The final event will be the October 2nd
event at Lucas Oil Raceway, formally known as ORP.

Performance Wire. "Those are five events that will have some travel
involved for the teams that participate in each of them. We want to
reward the teams that are loyal to CRA and make the effort to support
those five events."
The Scott Performance Wire Five Race
Challenge will pay the driver who gets the most series points in the
five events an $800 bonus and a set of Scott Performance Wires. The
second place driver in the Scott Performance Wire Five Race Challenge
will receive a $500 bonus. The third place driver in the Scott
Performance Wire Five Race Challenge will receive a $400 bonus.
Scott Performance Wire will award the
2011 CRA National Late Model Champion with a set of Scott Performance
Wires. Also, the 2011 CRA Super Series Champion and the 2011 CRA
Southern Six-Pack Tour Champion will receive a set of Scott
Performance Wires. There will be an additional set of Scott
Performance Wires that will be given away at the 2011 CRA Awards
Banquet by a random draw of the top 15 in final CRA Super Series
points.
Veteran CRA Super Series competitor
Jason Dietsch won last season’s Scott Performance Wire Challenge,
beating out Tommy St. John at the series final event of the season at
Concord Speedway in the North/South Shootout. John VanDoorn and Ryan
Blaney picked up a set of Scott Performance Wires each for being 2010
series Champions.
