Team Construction Clean Sweep Award Grows to $1500 for M-40 Sunday

Salem, IN (July 8, 2011) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award has grown to $1500 for the Independence Day 125, CRA Super Series event at M-40 Speedway this Sunday. $900 of the $1500 rolled over from the 2010 season. Ross Kenseth was the last to claim the award at the Manning Service 100 at Winchester Speedway on May 16, 2010, the third event of the 2010 season. The bonus has not been claimed since that event. Nick Gullatta was the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier at the series last event at Angola Motor Speedway last Sunday, it was Gullatta’s first ever fast qualifier award with the CRA Super Series. Gullatta ran up front until brake issues sidelined him from the event on lap 70.

The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100.
