Team
Construction Clean Sweep Award Grows to $1700 for the Redbud 300
Monday
Salem, IN
(July 28, 2011) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award has
grown to $1700 for the SealWrap Repair Tape Redbud 300, CRA Super
Series event at Anderson Speedway this Monday. $900 of the $1500
rolled over from the 2010 season. Ross Kenseth was the last to claim
the award at the Manning
Service
100 at Winchester Speedway on May 16, 2010, the third event
of the 2010 season. The bonus has not been claimed since that event.
Boris Jurkovic was the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier at Plymouth
Speedway last Sunday. Jurkovic was in a heated battle for the lead
throughout the early part of the event, leading four different times
until spinning out on lap 52 after contact from another car, which
placed him at the tail of the field. Jurkovic retired from the event
on lap 83 after heavy contact with another car while trying to battle
back to the front of the field.
The Team
Construction Clean Sweep Award consists of a $100 cash bonus if an
event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If
the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled
over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same
event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at
$100.
Digging
ditches and laying pipe for utility companies, private contractors and
developers isn't a glamorous or often appreciated job. It is a job
that requires preparation, commitment to job safety, and good
old-fashioned hard work. And that's what makes Nashville, Tennessee
based Team Construction a star player in the league of gas and utility
contractors. The foundation of the company starts in the trenches,
where they put their backs into their work - literally - every day.
