Medina, OH (July, 14, 2011) - All Jack Smith wanted was a
second chance to prove he belonged racing in the NASCAR Camping World
Trucks Series. Since his publicized suspension from NASCAR back in
August 2010 for "Actions Detrimental to Stock Car Racing", Smith has
been racing in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour and has been on a mission
to return to the ranks of NASCAR.

Smith got his wish and after being officially reinstated within
NASCAR, he was behind the wheel of the #63 Seal Wrap Repair Tape /
Mittler Brothers Tool & Machine / MB Motorsports Ford F-150 in the
UNOH 225 for the NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series on July 7th
at the 1.5 mile semi-banked d-shaped paved oval of Kentucky Speedway
located southwest of Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky in the
town of Sparta, Kentucky.
An 18th place finish, despite being caught up in two
separate incidents as an innocent bystander was a good enough showing
for MB Motorsports as well as his primary sponsor, Seal Wrap Repair
Tape, and now the Medina, Ohio veteran has been tabbed for six more
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts beginning this Saturday, July
16th at Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa for the Coca-Cola 200
Presented by Hy-Vee which will be LIVE on SPEED starting at 8:00p.m.
"I’m just so lucky to have this opportunity to drive for Mike
Mittler and the MB Motorsports Truck again. Plus to have a sponsor
like Seal Wrap Repair Tape who’s giving me the chance to race six more
times is just a dream come true and I’m so appreciative." The Buckeye
State driver said. "We were on our way to our best finish in the
series, but we just got caught up in two wrecks and just had nowhere
to go in either of them and we suffered some damage to the truck. But
the crew worked hard and we got out of there with a top 20."
After Iowa, Smith will race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck
Series races at Lucas Oil Raceway in Clermont, Indiana on July 29th,
Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan on August 20th,
Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on September 16th,
Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada on October 15th,
and Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas on November 4th.
MB Motorsports has competed in every season since the
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debuted in 1995 as the NASCAR
Craftsman Truck Series. The team has given many young drivers their
start in NASCAR, including NASCAR Sprint Cup Series winners including;
Carl Edwards, Brad Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, and Regan Smith. The
Iowa race will mark the teams’ fourth overall start of the season and
second with Smith behind the wheel.
"I still feel like I’m dreaming with everything that I’ve been
through in this past year or so and now to see everything finally come
together like it has is really something!" The appreciative driver
continued. "Without God and my Family, I wouldn’t even be here. I
can’t thank everyone enough for sticking with me. All the support I’ve
gotten from NASCAR and especially from the fans has been
overwhelming." He ended.
Due to his change in his NASCAR Camping World Trucks Series
schedule, Smith will have to miss some events within the JEGS/CRA
All-Stars Tour including this Saturday, July 16th at
Illiana Motor Speedway in Schererville, Indiana as well as Winchester
Speedway in Winchester, Indiana on Saturday, August 20th
which will end any chance at winning the Salem, Indiana based series’
inaugural championship. Other than those two shows, Smith plans on
hauling his familiar red #28 UB Machine Ford Fusion to those shows
that don’t conflict.
For the remainder of the 2011 racing season, Smith’s #63 Seal Wrap
Repair Tape Ford F-150 will have additional sponsorship from Mittler
Brothers Tool & Machine, Ford Racing, Ford Performance Parts, Dave
Porter Truck Sales, Tanner Racing Products by MB, Childs Tire,
Advanced Signs, Don Shetler Ford, Glenbeigh Treatment Center, Arizona
