CJ Leary to Drive for Welch and
Wilson Motorsports
Welch and
Wilson Motorsports have announced
that Greenfield, Indiana’s CJ Leary will be the new driver of their
#14 SealWrap Toyota for the remainder of the 2011 CRA Super Series
season. CJ will be in the car starting this weekend at Plymouth
Speedway. CJ just turned 15 and has been currently driving in the UMRA
TQ Series. CJ is the
current point’s leader in that series and has five feature wins in
2011. Leary is the son of open wheel racer Chuck Leary
Welch and Wilson Motorsports are extremely
excited to have the opportunity to add CJ to their racing team. Welch
and Wilson Motorsports currently have two full-time teams competing
with the CRA Super Series with Derrick Griffin in the #4 car, which is
currently third in series Championship points and is the leader in the
Rookie of the Year points. The #14 car is currently fourth in series
owner’s points heading into Sunday’s event.
