Looking Forward to Racing in the Winchester 400
Yorktown, IN – The ‘Y Town
Hustler”, Rick Turner will be back in action with the CRA Super
Series for the 39th Annual Winchester 400 next weekend at
Winchester Speedway. Turner’s car was heavily damaged at the series
event at ORP on September 18th, which resulted in Turner
missing last Saturday’s CRA All American 400 event. The car went to
Port City Racecars were it was repaired, the team is now getting it
ready to compete in the famed Winchester 400.
“It would be a
dream
come true to win the Winchester 400,” remarked Turner. “I have raced
in several of them, but haven’t been able to get a win yet.
Winchester’s my favorite track, we have been to victory lane their
in a CRA regular event, now I want to be there holding the rifle
after winning the Winchester 400!”

The Winchester 400 weekend will take
place at Winchester Speedway beginning with open practice on Friday,
October 15th, practice and qualifying on Saturday,
October 16th, the 39th Annual Winchester 400
will take the green flag at 2pm on Sunday, October 17th.
