CRA's Winchester 400 to Receive Regional and National TV Coverage
Officials with Michiana Speed Zone announced today that they will be
providing TV coverage of this Sunday's 39th Annual Winchester 400
presented by EDCO Welding and Hit
Country 102.5 WMDH. Fans will want
to tune into to Michiana Speed Zone on October 24th on SBT2 22.2,
Comcast 16, Medicacom 15 and Dish Network 30 at 2pm for the special
behind the scenes look at Winchester, Champion Racing Association
(CRA), and The 400 itself. Michiana Speed Zone is proud to cover
Sundays historic race 400 lap race featuring the Super Late Models of
the CRA Super Series as well as the Howe/CRA Late Model Sportsmen 50
lapper
that will be run this Saturday. CRA Officials have been an intricate
part of getting the details worked out for this event and are excited
about the opportunity to team up with Michiana Speed Zone. "We are
looking forward to seeing the work of the Michiana Speed Zone staff
and appreciate all their efforts in putting this together," commented
CRA's R. J. Scott
"This will be a great event for all involved and will help folks see
what CRA has
to
offer the fans," noted Michiana Speed Zone host Tony Eldridge. "At
the Winchester 400 fans will see pit stops made during the race for
fuel and tires, as well as a lot of side by side racing during 400
grueling laps. Michiana Speed Zone has covered short track racing all
season long from tracks like Angola and New Paris all the way to
Kalamazoo, and now look forward to including the exciting action from
CRA and Winchester Speedway.
Race fans will see a high-end production featuring six cameras and a
roaming pit reporter.
The
show will feature driver interviews before and after the race,
allowing local drivers to talk about there sponsors as well as the
folks who help them in the pits.
"This is a unique way to show fans that short track racing, in all of
its forms, is alive and going strong," Eldridge further noted. "Michiana
Speed Zone hopes that by putting CRA on TV fans will see what they are
missing by not being at the track and will continue to want to see
more exciting racing live and in person. This is a "MUST SEE" for
2010, where fans will want to be in attendance at Winchester
Speedway, and tune in later to see all the behinds the scene action."
