Harris Products Group Season Lap Leader Award for CRA Special Event
Extra Distance Races
Salem, IN (October 25, 2010) –
Three time series Champion Scott Hantz has won the 2010 Harris
Products Group Season Lap Leader Award with the
CRA Super Series, in the special event extra distance point races.
Hantz finished with 216 laps lead including 66 laps in the Plymouth
event in July and lead 150 laps in getting the win in the Redbud 300
at Anderson Speedway in July. This is the third year in a row that
Hantz has been a winner in the lap leader awards, but this is his
first in the special event extra distance point races.

driver T.J. Reaid finished in second with 209 laps lead including 200
in getting the win in the CRA All American 400 event in Nashville on
October 2nd and he led nine laps in the Winchester 400.
Chase Elliott was third with 135 laps lead including 59 in the Redbud
300 and 76 in winning the Winchester 400. 2010 series Champion John
VanDoorn was fourth with 129 laps lead and Eddie Hoffman was fifth
with 126 laps lead.
The Harris Products Group, a division
of Lincoln Electric, will award Scott Hantz, as the leader in the
special event extra distance point races on the 2010 CRA Super Series
schedule,
with
a set of Harris Products Group Cutting Torches. In addition, the
Harris Products Group will award John VanDoorn, as the leader in the
most laps in the regular 100/125-lap series point’s events on the 2010
schedule, with a set of the Harris Products Group Cutting Torches.
Both awards will be presented at the 2010 Champion Racing Association
Awards Banquet.
