Niewiek Continues
to Lead in Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings
Salem, IN (October 6, 2010) –
Perfect Circle Racecars Rookie of the Year competitor Jay Niewiek
continues to lead in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings with 76
gained positions after 11 CRA Super Series point events so far this
season heading into next weekend’s 39th Annual Winchester
400 Presented by EDCO Welding & Hydraulics at Winchester Speedway, the
Season Championship event for the series.
Niewiek has gained his 76
 positions
in just nine events, he missed the first two events of the season, and
just climbed into the top 15 in series points after the event at
Columbus Motor Speedway. Niewiek has averaged over eight gained
positions per event. Niewiek gained seven positions in last Saturday’s
All American 400 event in Nashville.
Fellow rookie competitor Colin
Nickolai is currently second with 69 gained positions so far this
season. Nickolai gained three positions in last Saturday’s All
American 400 event in Nashville. CRA veteran Jason Dietsch is in third
place with 66 gained positions. He gained 10 positions in last
Saturday’s All American 400 event in Nashville. John Long is in fourth
place with 32 gained positions this season.

in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2010 Champion
Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in
series points to be eligible for this award.
