Salem, IN (November 3, 2010) –
CRA Super Series officials have announced that the bonus payout for
the Scott Performance Wire Five State Challenge has been revised. The
Scott Performance Wire Five State Challenge is an award program based
upon five selected CRA Super Series point’s events in five states the
series will
have point’s events in 2010. A driver must compete in all five events
to be eligible for any bonuses. The original payout had the driver who
got the most series points in the five events would receive a $400
bonus and a set of Scott Performance Wires, the second place driver a
$500 bonus and a set of Scott Performance Wires and the third place
driver a $700 bonus.
Brian Scott, owner of Scott
Performance Wire, has decided to revise the payout with so few drivers
entered for the Concord Speedway event this weekend who are eligible
for the bonus money. Now the driver who gets the most series points in
the five events will receive a $700 bonus and a set of Scott
Performance Wires, the second place driver a $500 bonus and a set of
Scott Performance Wires and the third place driver a $400 bonus. If
less then three drivers compete in the Concord event that are eligible
for the bonuses, then the total payout would be split among the
drivers who compete in all five Challenge events.
To date there are only two drivers
eligible for the Scott Performance Wire Five State Challenge bonuses
that are entered for this weekends North-South Shootout 125 Presented
by WearCrete Diamond Concrete Polishing at Concord Speedway. Jason
Dietsch and Tommy St. John are those drivers, Dietsch is ahead of St.
John by two points in the Challenge standings to date. If those two
are the only drivers who compete, the winner of the Scott Performance
Wire Five State Challenge will receive a $900 bonus and second place
would receive a $700 bonus.
