Razzles to
Sponsor CRA Super Sunday Event at Mt. Lawn Speedway
Event will Feature
Best of CRA Against Mt. Lawn Heroes
Salem, IN (June 7, 2010) –
Champion Racing Association officials have announced that Razzles will
be the sponsor of this weekend’s Razzles Super Sunday, CRA promoted
event at Mt. Lawn Speedway located just outside of New Castle,
Indiana. The event will feature racing action from the Howe CRA Late
Model Sportsman Series, CRA Street Stocks and Vore’s Welding & Steel
CRA FWD Compacts in what will be a classic battle of each series
regulars against the local heroes who race each week at Mt. Lawn
Speedway.
Razzles,
New
Castle’s Hot Spot, will have its CRA Super Sunday Weekend promotion
this Friday, Saturday and Sunday, featuring a 10% discount off meals
for anyone caught wearing CRA apparel or mentioning CRA when ordering.
Razzles will be giving away tickets for Sunday’s race starting this
Wednesday through the rest of the week.

with CRA in this Sunday’s event at Mt. Lawn Speedway," remarked
Razzles Amber Fuller. "We look forward to meeting all the fans in our
hospitality area on Sunday, we will be giving away door prizes through
out the evening. We would like to invite everyone to come to Razzles
for lunch on Sunday and watch the NASCAR Sprint Cup race with us
before coming out for the races at Mt. Lawn."
Razzles offer’s a full menu including
AppetiZZers, Sandwiches, Steaks, Frog Legs and Prime Rib. They feature
a full bar, dance floor, pool tables, and TV's. Kids are welcome each
night until 10pm. Friday and Saturday nights they are open until 3am.
This Saturday night they will have a live band called, Sinn Dog from
10pm until 2am. Every Sunday they have $1.50 Long Necks. Razzles

supporters of racing at Mt. Lawn. Razzles is located in New Castle at

Keith Sterkowitz comes into Sunday’s
event as the point’s leader in the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman
Series with his season opening victory at Plymouth Speedway. Al Cook
Jr. is only two points behind Sterkowitz after getting the victory in
the series second event of the season at Anderson Speedway. 2009
series Champion Charlie Hanna is currently third in points followed by
Jason Atkinson in fourth and Steve Stacy in fifth.
Scott Neal is the series point’s
leader for the CRA Street Stocks by 42 points over second place Rich
Boyer. Neal has finished second, fourth, fifth and eighth in the
series four events to date. Josh Nelms won the season opener at
Plymouth. Boyer got the win at Anderson while Bret Miles won at
Winchester Speedway on May 16th. Steve Christman got the
win in the series last event at Winchester on May 23rd.
Brian Hopkins is third in series points followed by Rick Erwin in
fourth and Christman in fifth. There will be a $100 bonus to the
highest finishing Mt. Lawn or Anderson Speedway Thundercar.
2009 series Champion Tim Dilg comes
into Sunday’s event with a 34 point lead in points for the Vore’s
Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts. Dilg has finished second twice and
fourth in the series three events so far in 2010. Dave Bice, Kevin
Claborn and Mark Mason have all claimed victories so far this season.
Brian Redmond is currently second in series points, rookie Sean Barry
is third, Jess Drook is fourth and Justin Brown is fifth. Sunday’s
feature for the FWD’s will pay $250 to win. There will be a $50 and
$25 bonus to the top two finishing cars not in the current top 25 in
CRA FWD points.
Pit gates will open on Sunday at
12noon, spectator gates at 1:30pm. Practice will begin at 2pm with
qualifying at 3:30pm. The race program will begin at 5pm with heat
races for all three divisions. The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD
Compacts will have a 25 lap feature, the CRA Street Stocks a 50 lap
feature and the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series will end the
evening with a 50 lap feature Presented by WMDH 102.5. Adult general
admission tickets will be on sale at the gate for $12, students 6 to
12 will be $5, kids 5 and under are free. Fans can save $2 off an
adult ticket with a rain check from this Saturdays racing events at
Mt. Lawn Speedway or Anderson Speedway. More event information is
