Kyle Busch Signing Autographs
August 13 at Toledo; Will Not Race
TOLEDO, Ohio
(July 28, 2010) - NASCAR Sprint Cup Series star Kyle Busch will
visit Toledo Speedway on Friday, August 13 to sign autographs and meet
fans. Busch was previously scheduled to race in the CRA Super Series
100-lap event at the Glass City oval, but those plans have changed due
to obligations with his Sprint Cup team.
"We regret that
Kyle will not be able to participate in the CRA Super Series
race at Toledo," said Ron Drager, Toledo Speedway promoter. "Kyle's
racing efforts are being re-focused on his NASCAR Cup team, and while
he would really like to run this race, he has made the decision to
concentrate on his run for the 2010 NASCAR championship. We are
pleased that Kyle has agreed to still be at Toledo for the autograph
session."
Busch is
tentatively scheduled to be at Toledo from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to meet
the fans, sign autographs, and do a public address interview with
track announcer Gary Lindahl. More details regarding Busch's
appearance will be released next week.
In addition to
the CRA Super Series 100-lap feature presented by Spray Power, the
ARCA Factory Stocks and 4-Cylinders will also be in action. The pits
will open at 1:30 p.m. for the CRA cars, practice begins at 4, time
trials are at 6, and racing begins at 7:30 p.m. |
