Howe Racing Continues as Title Sponsor of the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series

Salem, IN (January 8, 2010) – Officials with Champion Racing Association are pleased to announce that Howe Racing has agreed to continue to be the Title Sponsor of the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series for the upcoming 2010 racing season. For the past four seasons the series had been titled with the Howe Racing name with Championships claimed by Keith Sterkowitz in 2006, Billy Hutson in 2007, Tony Dager in 2008 and newly crowned 2009 Champion Charlie Hanna.

"We are very excited to have Howe Racing back as the title sponsor of the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series for the 2010 season," remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner of Champion Racing Association. "We have seen tremendous growth in this series each season since it started in 2006. We appreciate everything Howe Racing did for our competitors the last three seasons and we look forward to a great 2010 season!"

The 2010 Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Champion will have the choice of receiving a bare Howe Chassis (a $2,300 value) or a $1000 cash bonus from Howe Racing. Howe Racing will award a $200 Product Certificate to second place in final 2010 series points, a $100 Product Certificate to third, a $75 Product Certificate to fourth and a $50 Product Certificate to fifth. In addition, Howe Racing will award each 2010 Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series event winner with a $25 Product Certificate.

Hanna rode a steady streak of strong finishes though out the season to claim the 2009 series title. Hanna has been a fan favorite every season he has competed with the series and is one of the most respected drivers in the series as well. 2006 Champion Keith Sterkowitz returned full time to the series in 2009 and finished second in points. Steve Stacy finished in third place in points and was the series Rookie of the Year. The series had a total of 84 different drivers’ compete during the 2009 season.
