Winchester, IN (August 30, 2010) – CRA officials are pleased to announce that McGunegill Engine Performance will once again sponsor the CRA Super Series 100 lap event in this weekend’s World Stock Car Festival on the famous High Banks of Winchester Speedway. This will be the sixth straight season that McGunegill Engine Performance has sponsored the traditional Labor Day Weekend event, which was won by North Carolina native Jeff Fultz last year.

As part of the sponsorship of the event this year, McGunegill Engine Performance will award a $1,500 Product Certificate towards the cost of a new engine to the team that wins the McGunegill Engine Performance 100. In addition McGunegill Engine Performance will award a $1000 Product Certificate towards an engine rebuild or refresh to a randomly drawn finisher in the McGunegill Engine Performance 100. The event winner will draw for the $1000 Product Certificate winner after the race in victory lane.

The Muncie, IN business has led the racing industry in the development of the Sealed Engine package for super late model racing across the county. And earlier this year, they announced an exclusive arrangement with Ford to help bring their new engine package to Super Late Model pavement racing. Three time CRA Super Series Champion and series all time winner Scott Hantz uses the MEP Seal Engine package along with top CRA competitors Rick Turner, Terry Fisher Jr., Jeff Lane, Tyler Roahrig, JR Roahrig and Jason Shively.
