Salem, IN (August 10, 2010) – The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award has grown to $400 for this Friday’s CRA Super Series Klotz Synthetic Lubricants 100 Presented by Spray Power at Toledo Speedway. Ross Kenseth was the last to claim the award at the Manning Service 100 at Winchester Speedway on May 16^th, the third event of the season. Brian Campbell claimed the first award of the 2010 season in the series second at Berlin Raceway on May 8^th.

The Team Construction Clean Sweep Award consist of a $100 cash bonus if an event’s EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier can also win that same event. If the fast qualifier fails to win, the $100 cash bonus is then rolled over to the next event until an events fast qualifier wins that same event. After a fast qualifier wins, the award starts over again at $100.

In the series last event at Anderson Speedway on July 26^th, NASCAR racer Kyle Busch was the EDCO Welding Fast Qualifier, but Busch’s night ended on lap 118 of the 300 lap event after something in the rear end broke after receiving damage in an accident on the track. John Van Doorn and Steve Dorer have also had opportunities to cash in on the award at Plymouth and Angola respectively, but both had bad luck resulting in bad finishes.
