CRA to be Part of
Exciting New Event at ORP
Salem, IN (August 12, 2010) –
After a one-year absence, Champion Racing Association will once again
be racing at the famed O’Reilly Raceway Park located in Clermont,
Indiana, just outside of Indianapolis. The Welch & Wilson Motorsports
Rock N Race 100 will take place on Saturday, September 18th
for the CRA Super Series. The event will also include racing action
from the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and the USA Modified
Series as well as a concert and a tailgate party.

"We are really excited about hosting
this great event at ORP," remarked Jeff Welch, Co-owner of Welch &
Wilson Motorsports. "Our goal is to make this a successful show so it
can become an annual event for the CRA Super Series. It’s going to be
a fun night with plenty of exciting racing on the challenging ORP
oval, with some great music and partying thrown in!"
Welch & Wilson Motorsports have
become heavily involved in racing with the CRA Super Series this
season. They are the new car owners for CRA Super Series competitor
Tommy St. John who is currently third in series points and has one win
at Angola Motor Speedway so far this season. Welch & Wilson
Motorsports were also the primary sponsors of the very successful
Redbud 300 CRA Super Series event at Anderson Speedway on July 26th.
"Everyone at CRA is very happy that
we are returning to race at ORP," remarked R.J. Scott, Managing
Partner of Champion Racing Association. "ORP was one of the original
tracks that started the CRA Super Series in 1997 and there had been a
series event their every year until last year, when we just could not
work it out. ORP is the perfect facility to promote an event like
this. We want to thank Welch & Wilson Motorsports for making this
awesome event happen!"
