JVM Enterprises and Nelson Kohman to Sponsor CRA Columbus Motor Speedway Event

Salem, IN (August 26, 2010) – JVM Enterprises and Nelson Kohman have agreed to be the primary sponsors of the 125 lap CRA Super Series event at Columbus Motor Speedway this Saturday night. This event will have the best of the CRA Super Series racing against some of the best drivers from Ohio and several regulars at Columbus Motor Speedway.

JVM Enterprises is owned and operated by Jeff Miller, a former car owner and crew chief with the old ASA Racing Series and with the CRA Super Series. Miller was also the Co-promoter of the very successful Buckeye Bash events that featured the CRA Super Series at Columbus Motor Speedway from 2003 through the 2007 season. JVM Enterprises is still involved in the racing industry as a dealer for Howe Racecars. JVM Enterprises has also remained involved with several local and regional race teams.

Nelson Kohman has been a business partner and support of JVM Enterprises for many years. Koham was also a supporter of the Buckeye Bash events at Columbus Motor Speedway. Kohman has been a big supporter of stock car racing in both local and regional levels for several years.

Saturday’s event will be on an earlier time schedule then Columbus Motor Speedway usually has because of a free Blue Oyster Cult Concert that will take place next-door to the track Saturday night. Pits will open at 11am on Saturday, practice will begin at 1pm with CRA qualifying at 3:30pm. The race program will begin at 4pm and will include the JVM Enterprises/Nelson Kohman 125 for the CRA Super Series. More information on the event can be found at www.columbusspeedway.com.
