Winchester, IN (September 15, 2009) – CRA and Winchester Speedway officials announced today the addition of a feature race for the Saturday, October 3^rd portion of the Old Timers Weekend. A special "New Star Feature" for the Vore's Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts has been added to the race card for that day. This special non-point 20 lap feature is open to all CRA FWD Compact cars and drivers that have not finished in the top three in a series feature at Winchester during the 2008 or 2009 seasons and have not won any CRA feature events during the 2009 season. New teams are welcome as well, that have true, entry level drivers. No V-Tec Engines will be allowed in this event. The payout for this event will be: $125-100-80-70-60-55-50-45-40-35-30-25-20-15 on out.

The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts were already scheduled with a regular points event on Sunday, October 4^th. The HOSS Winged Sprints, Motion Motor Late Models and CRA Street Stocks will also race on Saturday evening October 3^rd. Also racing Sunday will be the USAC National Sprint Cars and Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series. Old Timer cars will be on display and making laps on the track on both days.
