Winchester 400 Lap Leaders Award

Salem, IN (September 11, 2009) - It's that time of year again. Kids are back in school, the racing season is winding down and the 38th Annual Winchester 400 is quickly approaching! Preparations are being made to make this year's event the best one yet. Some of the best racers in the country are expected to compete, including NASCAR stars David Reutimann and Kyle Busch.

The Winchester 400 has developed a mystique of it's own over the years, that draws racers and fans together for one of the biggest weekends of stock-car racing in the country. Part of the allure is the racetrack itself. The fearsome high banks are legendary in the racing community. The distance is unique, in that, it is the only true 400 lap race for Late Model stock cars in the United States. The fans, and the party-like atmosphere for the whole weekend, are rivaled only by a few of the greatest short-track events in the country.
And, of course, The Purse. With $15,000 guaranteed and several bonuses available, the winner could take home close to $27,000.

One of those bonuses is our Leader Board Program, where the leader of each lap earns a $25.00 bonus. This has become a popular way for race fans and businesses to get involved and support this great event. Laps are "sold" for $25.00, so every penny of your support goes directly to the racers. For your support of this program, you will get your name on "your" laps on our huge "Leader Board" that is on display at the speedway. Also, for every individual that buys a lap, you will be entered into a drawing to receive two (2) tickets to the 2010 Winchester 400! Additionally, anyone that purchases at least four (4) laps will be entered into a drawing to receive two (2) Season Tickets for the 2010 racing season at Winchester Speedway.

In some cases, it may be possible to request specific laps, however, due to renewals from last year, the laps you request may not be available.
