Salem, IN (May 12, 2009) – Champion Racing Association officials have announced that SCS Environmental will be the primary sponsor of the 100 lap CRA Super Series event at Baer Field Speedway on Saturday, July 18^th. The SCS Environmental 100 Presented By Klotz Lubricants will be the 13^th series event held at Baer Field Speedway located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana since the first series event was held there in 1999.

Three time series Champion Scott Hantz is the series all time victory leader at Baer Field Speedway with four wins including last season’s event, in which he posted fast time in qualifying, then came from his fourth place starting position to take the lead on lap 20. Hantz held off Jason Dietsch to get the win. Dietsch finished in second after leading early in the event, Jeff Lane finished in third, Boris Jurkovic in fourth and Rick Turner in fifth.

Midwest veteran racer Eddie Hoffman is second in series wins at Baer Field with two. Lane, Chuck Barnes Jr., JR Roahrig, Junior Hanley, Brian Ross and legendary Ft. Wayne racer Larry Zent all have one win apiece. Hantz holds the track record for the series, which he set on May 20^th, 2007 with a time of 17.229 at 104.475 miles per hour.

SCS Environmental is also a sponsor of CRA Super Series competitor Justin Matson of Cromwell, Indiana. Matson currently sets a top the K & N Filters Rookie of the Year Standings after one series event so far this season at Anderson Speedway were he finished ninth and earned the K & N Filters Rookie of the Race Award. Matson has competed mainly on dirt in the past in a modified, he still races on the dirt occasionally when CRA is not racing, he won a heat race at Eldora Speedway this past Saturday night and finished 11^th in the feature. There were 50 UMP Modifieds on hand for the event.
