Holds Off Hahn to Win in ARCA Trucks at Flat Rock
FLAT ROCK MI (May 23, 2009) - Loveland, Ohio's Danny
Jackson held off a hundred laps of ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series
powerhouse Paul Hahn to win the Lincoln Welders 100 Saturday night
at Flat Rock Speedway.

Jackson, in the no. 19 Red Bank Transport Chevrolet Colorado, took
the lead at the onset from his pole starting position and never
relinquished it, earning his second career series victory.
"I knew I had to hold the white line - protect the bottom if I was
going to hold off Paul for 100 laps," said Jackson. "And that's what
we did. That was a lot of fun out there."
Hahn, the defending series champion, was never more than a length
away from Jackson and kept the heat on the whole way. Although Hahn
got alongside Jackson a few times, the Canton, Michigan driver, in
the no. 7 Hahn's Powder Coating-Fox Auto Parts-Howe Racing Chevy,
could never find a way around the leader and finished second, one
length away.
Nick Gullatta, in the no. 31 Thomson Automotive Chevy, finished
third ahead of TJ Stineman, who steered the no. 89 Front Row
Fabrication Dodge to fourth in the final order.
Brian Norton, the all-time Street Stock winner at Flat Rock,
finished fifth in the no. 33 Dave White Chevrolet-White Family
Collision Chevy in his second series start. Mike Young, a teammate
of Norton, finished sixth in the no. 10 Dave White Chevrolet-Dave
White Auto Credit Chevy.
Nathan Trepkowski, after an on-track incident sent him to the tail
of the field, charged back to finish seventh in the B&J Auto Center-Ubly
Auto Supply Chevy.
Tim Schafer, Bill Withers and Steve Christman completed the top-10
finishers respectively. Flat Rock, Michigan's "The Phantom" finished
11th, the last truck on the lead lap. Schafer, in the Double "S"
Racing Chevrolet, also earned the Ed & Company Hard Charger award
for advancing the most positions.
