CRA Super Series South Schedule Revision Announced

Salem, IN (March 5, 2009) – As anticipation for the Inaugural CRA Super Series South season builds, Champion Racing Association (CRA) Officials have announced the season’s first event and a two changes to the previously released schedule.

The opener will be the Watermelon Twin 125’s at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, GA on April 4th, where the CRA Super Series will again pair with the Georgia Asphalt Series (GAS).  The two series also raced together at the highly regarded 2009 Speedfest at Lanier National Speedway in January.  Entries for CRA South opener are available now here.

Two other changes to the schedule were also announced.  CRA’s return to Lanier National Speedway has been moved to Saturday, August 1st.   This will be the first point race for the new series at the famed speedway where Kyle Busch took his first CRA race over a very strong field at the 2009 Speedfest.   The May 16th event at Montgomery Speedway has been removed from the schedule, with hopes of another date in the future.

The new schedule along with more information about the new series, membership registration forms, and rules are also available on the CRA website at www.craracing.net.
