Salem, IN (March 24, 2009) –
CRA Super Series officials are pleased to announce that Safety

Super Series and CRA Super Series South event during the 2009 season.

legitimately out of the event. The award will consist of a $50 Product
Certificate from Safety Solutions.
In addition, Safety Solutions will
also sponsor the Season Tough Luck Award for each series in 2009,
which will go to the driver in the top 15 in series points who had the
worst luck during the 2009 season. That award will consist of a $100
Product Certificate from Safety Solutions.
"We greatly appreciate Safety
Solutions coming on board to support our racers," remarked Glenn
Luckett, Managing Partner of Champion Racing Association. "We want our
teams to do everything they can to make sure their drivers are as safe
as possible in all our events. Safety Solutions is here to help our
teams get those safety devices, we encourage all our teams to take a
look at what they have to offer!"
Safety Solutions, Inc began in 2002,
making its first head and neck restraint, the Hutchens Device. This
Device was introduced into the NASCAR series just before Dale
Earnhart’s incident. For the next three years, the success of the
Hutchens Device spread to many series across the country.
During those years, Trevor Ashline,
the inventor and engineer behind Safety Solutions products, continued
his research and product testing to make better head and neck
restraints. The Company came out with the D-cel, a strap harness
similar to the Hutchens Device, and the carbon fiber R3 Device. At
this point in the company’s history, NASCAR developed a standard for
testing head and neck restraints, which led to the development of the
SFI 38.1 Certification. Safety Solutions immediately certified their
R3 device.
As time went on, different series
began to mandate SFI 38.1 certified head and neck restraints. There
were only two companies, HANS and Safety Solutions that were making
SFI 38.1 certified devices. Safety Solutions soon developed the Hybrid
and the Hybrid X, which made a large impact in the Drag racing world
saving the lives of top drivers, such as John Force, the 14 time
champion. Safety Solutions also has developed safety Driver Nets and
other products that have helped reduce the risk of the occupant.
With all the testing knowledge,
product development and previous experience as a safety restraint
engineer with over 18 years experience, Ashline continues to invent
products that are cutting edge technology. He has also written many
articles for the top racing magazines along with an SAE papers.
Lectures for conferences such as the ICMS conference and consulting
for John Force racing are part of his resume strengths. With those
attributes, Safety Solutions has made their presence in the racing
industry a strong one. They continue to make head and neck restraints
that are a true testament to safety and offer several advantages over
their competitor’s products. They currently have seven SFI 38.1 head
and neck restraints, a standard in which no other company can compete
with and which sets us apart from our competition. More information on
Safety Solutions and their safety products is available at
