Circle Racing Wheels
To Support CRA Super Series South In 2009
Salem, IN (March 11, 2009) – Champion
Racing Association officials have announced that Circle Racing Wheels
has agreed to become a sponsor of the CRA Super Series South for the
upcoming 2009 race season. The inaugural 2009 season for the CRA Super
Series South is set to begin with the Watermelon 125 at Watermelon
Capital Speedway located in Cordele, Georgia on Saturday, April 4th.
That event will also feature a 125-lap event for the G.A.S Series.
Circle Racing Wheel will award a $75
Product Certificate to the eighth place finisher at every CRA Super
Series South event during the 2009 race season. In addition, Circle
Racing
Wheels will award one set of four wheels by random draw of the
top 15 finishers in final 2009 CRA Super Series South points at the
2009 series awards banquet.
"The folks at Circle Racing Wheels
are proud to be a supporter of the CRA Super Series South in 2009,"
remarked Randy Rabinowitch of Circle Racing Wheels." We feel the CRA
Super Series South and its events will provide us a great
opportunity to present our products to some of the greatest Super Late
Model Racers in the USA. Our line of Wide 5 and 5 on 5 Short Track
Racing wheels are second to none!"
"We are very happy to have the
support of Circle Racing Wheels with our new South series for the 2009
season," remarked Glenn Luckett, Managing Partner of Champion Racing
Association. "It is going to be an exciting year with our new South
series and we appreciate companies like Circle Racing Wheels stepping
up to help support this new venture. We are expecting a lot of the top
late model racers from the South to compete with us in 2009 and we are
looking forward to a great season!"
Since the beginning of 2006, Circle
Racing Wheels has been doing business under new ownership—as a
division of Wheel Vintiques Inc., located in Fresno, California.
Circle Racing Wheels president Mike Stallings has been involved in
racing since childhood. Today, he campaigns both a 360 and 410 winged
Sprint Car at local central California tracks, and occasionally runs
with the big boys on the World of Outlaws tour. From a manufacturing
standpoint, Mike's participation this is no doubt a "best of both
worlds" situation, as it gives Stallings direct contact with racers
and actual hands-on experience with the company's products —plus he
has the flexibility to promptly transfer this input to Circle's
design.
