Weather Forces Re-schedule of Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway

and CRA Teams Geared up for July 27th Re-Scheduled Date
Anderson, IN (June 16,
2009) – Officials from Anderson Speedway announced that impending
rain and storms have forced the reschedule of today’s CRA Super Series
Redbud 300 The
rescheduled
date will be Monday, July 27th, the day after the famed
Brickyard 400 at IMS. 32 Cars were pre-entered for the race that was
planned to honor the heritage of the ASA National Tour. Anderson
Speedway was considered by many to be the home track of the Pendleton,
IN based series. The two entities were both owned by the Rex Robbins
family from the mid seventies to the late nineties.
Among the cars pre-entered
for the event were NASCAR star Kyle Busch, former 2-Time ASA National
Champion Gary St. Amant, Former ASA Star and Anderson event winner
Harold Fair and 3-Time CRA Champion Scott Hantz. All are expected to
return for the re-schedule date.
