Salem, IN (June 18, 2009) – CRA Super Series officials have
received confirmation from
the
Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville that the Budweiser All American 150
is being rescheduled for Sunday, August 23rd, the day after
the Nextel Sprint Cup race at Bristol Motor Speedway. The event was
originally scheduled for May 3rd but was postponed because
of weather.
"I apologize to all the fans and teams that it took so long to
announce the reschedule date," remarked Danny Denson Promoter of
Fairgrounds Speedway at Nashville. "We have been trying to work it out
so Kyle Busch could come back and race in that event and it took some
time getting it approved with the Gibb’s organization. We finally got
the okay, were really excited about having the CRA Super Series back
here racing in Nashville with Kyle Busch and look forward to a great
event!"
The CRA Super Series will practice and qualify on Saturday, August
22nd. The Budweiser All American 150 will take place on
Sunday afternoon, August 23rd. The event pays $5000 to win,
but more importantly the top three finishers of the Budweiser All
American 150 get guaranteed starting positions in the prestigious CRA
sanctioned Nashville All American 400 event on November 1st.
