Salem, IN (July 21, 2009) – Champion Racing Association (CRA) officials announced today that the CRA event involving the Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, CRA Street Stocks and Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts scheduled at Baer Field Speedway on Sunday, August 23^rd has been moved to Mt. Lawn Speedway in New Castle, Indiana.

CRA was the promoter of the event originally scheduled at Baer Field Speedway on Sunday, August 23^rd. Due to better opportunities to promote the event, attract event sponsorship, and more adequately staff the event, the sanctioning body made the switch to be the promoter of the event at the Mt. Lawn facility for the same date. The Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stocks will have 50 lap features on August 23^rd along with heat races. The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts will have a 30 lap feature along with heat races. The race program on August 23^rd will have a 5pm start time.

Lawn promoter Rick Sweigart was also a big help in the transition of the venue, and we look forward to being back at his beautiful and historic facility."
