Racing
Electronics Debuts New Website for Start of 2009 Season
RE's Newest
Products and Discounts Have New Home on the Web
CONCORD, NC (January
15, 2009)
– In every
racer's garage, whether it's in the top levels of NASCAR to the weekly
short trackers around the country, engines are getting tuned up and
preparations are being made for the rapidly approaching start to the
2009 racing season. Drivers and teams are busy getting ready for the
fresh start to a new season - just like Racing Electronics, the
worldwide leader in professional racing communications, is doing.
RE, with its
worldwide
headquarters in Concord, North Carolina, has introduced a brand-new
website design just in time for the start of the 2009 racing season.
The all-new
www.racingelectronics.com site was designed to keep racers and
race fans alike up to speed on the latest products, specials and
information from Racing Electronics, the most trusted name in at-track
communications, as well as serve as a one-stop-shop for all the
at-track communications needs for the racers and teams, as well as the
fans in the stands.
"It was time for a
makeover," said Bruce Silver, President and CEO of Racing
Electronics. "It's been about two years ago since our last re-design
and I think it's important to keep your web design fresh.
"The main thing
that we wanted to do with our new website was show our customers our
new products and provide information on the new and current products
in our inventory, as well. For example, we have a new two-way Victory
GT-18 radio. It's a compact, high performance portable radio that is
the latest in our efforts to provide affordable, quality alternatives
for the short track racer. On the website, we can provide all the
information on new products like the Victory GT-18 and rotate that
information with some of our latest news."
Short trackers and
NASCAR racers alike will be able to take advantage of specials offered
by Racing Electronics throughout 2009 through the all-new
racingelectronics.com. Some of the recently-introduced products
from RE are already up on the website, but even more new products and
blowout deals are expected leading up to the Daytona 500 in February.
"For Daytona, we
have a new product coming out that we're excited about," added
Silver. "With the new website, we'll have all the information on that
product right on the front page once we announce its release. In the
meantime, we will have some new specials that we're getting ready to
put out there, so everyone should stay tuned to the new website.
Right now, we're going through our inventory and we're going to be
using our new site to relay special pricing on our products to the
racers and the race fans."
Be sure to check
out the new
racingelectronics.com for all the latest product information for
the 2009 racing season, as well as numerous interactive features,
including RE's "Helmet of the Month" and more.
