Salem, IN (February 4, 2009) – Champion Racing Association Officials have released the 2009 schedules for their Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series, CRA Street Stocks and Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts. They have also released updated schedules for the CRA Super Series and CRA Super Series South.

The Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series currently have 12 point events and one non-points event on their 2009 schedule. The series will compete at Anderson Speedway three times including the season opener on Saturday, April 18^th. The series will have four point events and one non-point event at Winchester Speedway. There will be two events at Plymouth Speedway, two events at Baer Field Speedway and one event at Angola Motor Speedway. The overall purse has been increased for this series with most events paying $1000 to win and $130 to start.

The CRA Street Stocks currently have 12 point events and two non-point events on their 2009 schedule. The series will have five point events at Winchester Speedway, including the season opener on Sunday, April 19^th and will also have two non-point events there, details on those events will be announced at a later date. The series will have three events at Anderson Speedway including a first ever 300 lap event on Saturday, June 27^th, more details on that event will be announced at a later date. The series will have two events at Baer Field Speedway and one event at Plymouth Speedway.

The Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts schedule has increased to 13 events for the 2009 season. Most of the events will be ran at Winchester Speedway including the season opener on Sunday, April 19^th and they will have a special 50 lap event on Sunday June 6^th with a possible $1000 to win, more details on that event will be announced at a later date. The series will have two events at Baer Field Speedway, one event at Plymouth Speedway and will have there first ever event at Anderson Speedway on Saturday, September 12^th with a special 50 lap event with a special purse that will be announced at a later date.

All released schedules are subject to change. Howe CRA Late Model Sportsman Series and CRA Street Stock teams are reminded that a number can be reserved and they can receive discount entry fees for the 2009 season by purchasing a 2009 CRA License. Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compact teams can reserve a number for the entire season by registering their cars with a CRA FWD Compact Registration form and paying the $25 registration fee for the 2009 season.
