Salem, IN (December 16, 2009) – Champion Racing Association officials are pleased to announce that Vore’s Welding & Steel has agreed to continue their title sponsorship of the CRA F.W.D. Compacts for the 2010 season, it will be the fourth season in a row that Vore’s Welding & Steel has been the title sponsor.

"We greatly appreciate Steve Vore’s support of the CRA F.W.D. Compacts," remarked Glenn Luckett with Champion Racing Association. "Steve not only supports the series as a sponsor, but brought numerous cars to the track with the Vore’s Racing Team to compete at each event. With his support we hope to continue the growth of this series in 2010!"

Tim Dilg will be officially crowned the 2009 Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts Champion on Saturday, January 9^th at Indiana Downs in Shelbyville, Indiana, the rest of the top ten in 2009 points will also be honored at the 2009 Champion Racing Association Awards Banquet. 2008 series Champion Rex Zimmerman finished in second place in points, leading series rookie Justin Brown was third, Brian Redmond in fourth and Bill Charles was fifth. In all a record 58 different teams competed for points with the series in 2009.

Champion Racing Association officials are currently working on the 2010 Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA F.W.D. Compacts schedule and will have that information available in the near future. Updates will be posted on the CRA web site at www.craracing.net.
