Fagin Back in Front of
the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings
Salem, IN (August 31, 2009) –
One week after losing his first place spot in the Cometic Gasket
Hardcharger Standings, Brandon Fagin moved back in front after the
series last event on August 23rd at Fairgrounds Speedway in
Nashville. Fagin gained six positions in that event before having to
drop out on lap 106 with engine problems. Jason Dietsch had taken over
the lead after the August 14th Toledo Speedway event,
Dietsch did not compete in the Nashville event. Fagin has
now
gained 48 positions so far this season. Dietsch is now in second with
46 gained positions. Both drivers are entered for this weekends Labor
Day event at Winchester Speedway.
K & N Filters Rookie Of The Year
competitor Damon Ecoff moved up to third in the standings with 30
gained positions, ten of those came at the Nashville event. Veteran
series competitor Kenny Tweedy is now in fourth with 26 gained
positions after gaining 12 of those in Nashville. Fellow rookie
competitor Nick Lay is now in fifth place with 23 gained positions, he
gained six in the Nashville event.

in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2009 Champion
Racing Association Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in
series points to be eligible for this award.
