Salem, IN (April 28, 2009) – Champion Racing Association officials have announced the addition of a non-points special event to the Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts 2009 Schedule. Mt. Lawn Speedway officials have invited the CRA FWD Compacts to be part of their regular Hornets (FWD’s Compacts) event on Saturday, June 13^th. The CRA FWD Compacts will run under their regular series rules. The Mt. Lawn event will have a $25 to win trophy dash, $40 to win heat races and a $125 to win feature that night.

In addition there will be bonuses with that event that will be sponsored by the JB Racing team of Cary Abrell and Justin Brown, who plan to compete in most of the Vore’s Welding & Steel CRA FWD Compacts events during the 2009 season. The award, named in the memory of Justin's Grandfathers, will be known as the "The Clay Abrell/Tim Brown Memorial Award" and will pay bonuses of $100, $60 and $40 to the top 3 CRA finishers in that nights feature event, on top of the purse they earn from Mt. Lawn Speedway. With those bonuses it will be possible for one CRA FWD Compact racer to win almost $300 that night racing at Mt. Lawn Speedway.

The CRA Street Stocks will also be part of the racing action on Saturday, June 13^th at Mt. Lawn Speedway with a regular point’s event, also racing that night will be the Mt.
