Hard Charging Maynor
Maintains Lead In The Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings
Salem, IN (September 18, 2008,
2008) – K & N Filters Rookie Of The Year competitor Robert Maynor
still has the lead in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings with 66
gained positions after twelve events so far in the 2008 season,
heading into Saturday’s Circle Track Classic 100 Presented By The U.S.
Army at O’Reilly Raceway Park. Maynor gained thirteen positions in the
series last event at Winchester Speedway on Labor Day Weekend, which
earned Maynor the ISKY Racing Cams/Lane Automotive Hardcharger Award
for that event. He also won the award at the previous series event at
Salem Speedway and is the only driver to win the award more than once
in 2008.
Maynor has now built an 18-position
lead over Terry Fisher Jr. who is in second
with
48 gained positions including the 11 positions he gained in the series
last event at Winchester Speedway. Current series point’s leader Scott
Hantz is now in third place with 43 gained positions, he lost four
positions in the Winchester event. K & N Filters Rookie Of The Year
points leader Aaron Pierce is now in fourth place with 36 gained
positions after gaining 12 positions in the Winchester event. Rookie
contender Adam Purdy is now in fifth place with 33 gained positions.

of the CRA Super Series, will award a $500 bonus to the season leader
in the Cometic Gasket Hardcharger Standings at the 2008 CRA Super
Series Awards Banquet. A driver has to be in the top 15 in series
points to be eligible for this award. The final race in the Cometic
Gasket Hardcharger Standings will be now be the $10,000 to win Boyne
At Berlin 125 make-up event on October 18th,which will now
be the last series point’s event of the 2008 season.
